YOGABODY Yoga Trapeze Stand Overview

The Yogabody Trapeze Stand is made by YOGABODY®  who have been making and distributing inversion slings and mounts since 2009.  They claim to offer the best service, quality, safety, and support. The product also comes with a 365 day warranty.

The stand can also be used by cross-fitters and boxers who might want to hang rings or heavy punch bags from it. You can also use it to do pull-ups on as well.

The great things about this aerial yoga rig is that it can be put up in 5 minutes by just one person, as it’s made of aluminium alloy you can leave it outside all year round depending on your climate. If you live in a  cold, wet and damp state you might want to cover it up or take it down in the cooler, wetter months.

It’s a good sturdy frame that we would be more than happy to hand our yoga trapeze or yoga hammock from.

At $495 (around £350) plus shipping, it is cheaper than its competitors the X-Pole A-Frame and Prodigy Aerial Yoga Rigs.  The only negative we can find about this stand is that it is only available for shipping within the USA

How easy is it to Put it Up?

The Yogabody Yoga Trapeze Stand is really easy to put up and takedown. Just one person can errect it, but of course, it will be easier if there are two of you doing it.

The rig goes up in stages so you don’t need any strength to be able to put it up.

Simply pop the end bars on the first leg and turn it upright. Next, go around each leg and pop an extension. Repeat the process until all legs are in place. hang your yoga trapeze or aerial hammock and your ready for action.

How Easy Is It To Store?

You will have no issues storing the Yogabody yoga trapeze stand as the longest part is just over 1m in length, this is shorter than competitors so it is going to be slightly easier to store than those and you will be able to fit it in your truck (boot) if you want to take it out to the park or beach with you.

When all the parts are in the bag, it’s not going to be very wide so you will be able to find a place to pop this either in an outhouse or store room.

At just 27kg you will be able to lift it with ease. It is much lighter than other aerial yoga rigs.

How Stable & Safe Is It?

This product has been ranked as one of the top-rated (many positive reviews) aerial yoga trapeze rigs by users due to its very high quality,  it is very, very strong and stable. The construction quality is top-notch. Welds are professional and meticulously done.

For those who don’t want to use a door bar or place permanent hooks in the ceiling, this is the perfect solution.

It’s great that there are 2 heights – that way you can use it for inversion practice, hang your punch bag and then lower it if you want to do pull-ups or take the rig inside.

The reviews that we have looked at all state that they feel safe and secure when practising on the Yoga Trapeze Stand.

When using it in the park or other uneven surfaces the rig still felt safe as the legs are designed to wiggle and give a little to adjust to various surfaces. We found it to be very adaptable and versatile.

How Quick Was Delivery?

Shipping is just within mainland USA at the moment so it can be with you within 7-14 days after your purchase has been completed.

Competitors rigs may be with you much quicker, but that will depend if they have them in stock and ready for same-day dispatch. However, when buying a rig from a competitor you will need to take into shipping costs of international delivery.

They currently don’t ship out of the USA as the shipping cost of such a heavy item is too high.

Overall Review

Overall, during this review, we were very pleased with the product and its price. Yogabody’s yoga trapeze stand offers excellent value for those looking for a portable rig to practice aerial yoga inside or outside. It is very reasonably priced in comparison to circus rigs and it’s leading competitors in the aerial yoga stand category.

This yoga stand provides you with the perfect solution for practicing aerial yoga and yoga trapeze at home. Aerial yoga trapeze is a great way to perform inversions at home which is known to help to shift the body’s gravity, the pressure eases off the back while also providing traction for the spine (1).

It also offers you the option to practice other sports such as Olympic Rings and Boxing at home. Whilst it is not stated you may also be able to perform conditioning moves for other aerial arts as long as you don’t do any dynamic drops.

We have placed this in the number 3 spot – we like the rig and have only marked it down because it is only available in the USA. Competitors are all available for international shipping.

A great rig for those in the USA, try it yourself to see how the Yogabody Yoga Trapeze Stand is perfect for practising aerial yoga postures.
