What does a pole studio need from booking software?
Pole and aerial classes have a few needs that general booking tools don’t always handle well:
- Class limits: you can only take as many students as you have poles or rigs, so bookings need to stop when a class is full.
- Waitlists: pole classes fill up fast, so a waitlist that offers spaces automatically saves you lots of messages.
- Courses and passes: beginner courses, class packs, memberships and drop-ins.
- Private lessons and parties: one-to-one sessions and hen parties alongside your timetable.
- Waivers: health questions and consent forms before a student’s first class.
- Easy booking for students: a simple app or booking page, reminders, and an easy way to cancel.
The best booking software for pole and aerial studios
These are the systems pole and aerial studios use most. We don’t earn anything from these links.
TeamUp
Simple class booking, memberships and class passes, with a customer app. Priced by how many active customers you have; price trackers list it from about $119 a month. All features on every plan.
Gymcatch
UK-based booking system with a pole and aerial version: class passes, courses, private sessions, waitlists, waivers and an app for students. Listed from about $18 a month, with a free trial.
Mindbody
The best-known booking system in the USA, with its own consumer app where new students can find you. From $79 a month per location, plus fees, and Mindbody takes 20% of a new client’s first purchase (up to $30) when the app sends them.
Glofox
Full studio management with scheduling, payments, check-in and reporting. From €220 a month, with a branded app as an add-on on the cheaper plans.
Momence
Booking, payments, on-demand video and marketing in one. Pricing is by quote only, so ask for a demo and a price for your size of studio.

What your students will see
As students, we’ve booked pole classes through both TeamUp and BookFit, and we preferred TeamUp. Whatever you choose, try booking, paying and cancelling as if you were a student before you commit. If it’s fiddly for you, it will be fiddly for them, and they may give up before booking.
Top tip: most of these offer a free trial or demo. Set up a real class, book it from your phone, and ask a couple of regular students to try it too.
Weekly classes or one-off events?
For a weekly timetable with passes and memberships, use a studio booking system like TeamUp or Gymcatch. For a one-off workshop, retreat or showcase, Eventbrite is often simpler. You don’t pay a monthly fee, free events cost nothing, and your event can be found in Eventbrite’s listings. Many instructors use both.
How much does pole studio booking software cost?
Expect to pay anything from around £15 to £300 a month, depending on the system and how many students you have. On top of that, you’ll usually pay card processing fees on every payment. Mindbody is popular in the USA but can be expensive for small studios once fees are added. Smaller UK studios and freelance instructors often start with something simpler like Gymcatch or TeamUp.
